Dumpor — anonymous Instagram viewer for stories
Stories, highlights, reels and posts of open accounts, with no sign-in and no name added to their viewer list.
Nothing reaches their viewer list. Your searches stay in this browser.
Dumpor (dumpor.org) is a free player for everything an Instagram account shares in public: stories, highlights, reels and posts. Enter a handle above and its open content loads on this page, while whoever posted it receives no alert. You hand over no password, install nothing and create no account. Any private profile remains out of reach, since its owner chooses every follower personally.
One username opens four tabs: live stories, the feed, reels and pinned highlights
An anonymous search brings up the profile header first: name, bio, picture and three totals for followers, accounts followed and posts. Those numbers are read at the moment you search, and the page keeps no older copies to compare them with. Under that header sit four tabs.
- Stories comes up first and plays whatever the owner put out during the last 24 hours.
- Posts lists the feed from the newest entry down, each with its caption and its like and comment totals.
- Reels lists their short videos on their own, apart from the grid.
- Highlights holds the older stories they chose to pin, grouped under each cover.
Stories and highlights differ in one way that matters here: a story expires after a day unless its owner keeps it, and a kept story moves to Highlights. Tapping either follower figure reveals the accounts behind it, though a long list shows only its opening part. The comment total under a post opens what people wrote there. Every photo and clip shows a small download arrow, and the saved file carries no watermark.
Stories you can watch unseen
A story’s viewer list on Instagram gains a name only when somebody plays the story through their own Instagram login. Here nobody signs in, so the request for the story comes from our server rather than from your profile, and your name has nothing to attach to. That is all anonymous viewing means here, and it is enough.
- Copy the name. Take the handle from the app, or copy the profile’s address from a browser tab.
- Paste it above. Press View and the header loads, with the Stories tab already open.
- Open what you need. If Stories is empty, nothing new went up in a day, so try Highlights.
On their side, the account looks exactly as it did before you came. The owner gets no notice that someone opened the profile, and the viewer list shows no name of yours. The most they might spot is a single view under some account name unknown to them, with no link to you or to anything you use.
Where Dumpor stops: private profiles and expired stories
Once an owner switches an account to private, nobody gets in without their approval as a follower. No viewer can step around that choice, and any page that swears it can is usually fishing for your password. Expired stories that were never pinned to Highlights are gone, and so are posts their authors erased. Dumpor reads only what the account shows to anybody right now. Please view only what people chose to publish openly.
What a search sends, and to whom
Dumpor keeps no list of which usernames anyone searched. The last 10 names you opened are stored on this device alone, and a single button wipes them. The search itself stays anonymous: it runs through our server and then a hired data service; that service reads the profile on Instagram, with no part played by your own login.
One honest limit belongs here. Post photos and story or reel videos often reach you unrelayed, served by the media hosts Instagram runs, and those hosts see your IP address as any website would, though not your account and not the page that asked. Your downloads, avatars and the little highlight circles, on the other hand, travel by way of our own server. The privacy page lists each service in that path, and the about page says who runs Dumpor.
Dumpor FAQ: privacy, private profiles, saving files
Dumpor down or not working: what should I check first?
Check the spelling of the handle before anything else. Then test a famous account anyone can see. When its header and posts load, the site is up, and the fault sits with that single profile. The message on screen names the likely cause.
Comparing Dumpor alternatives: which features count?
Look at what each one asks of you and what it leaves on the other side. A fair choice works without any Instagram password, shows highlights and stories, not posts alone, and never pretends it can unlock private profiles.
Is Dumpor safe for the Instagram account I use?
Yes, because that account never enters the search. Nothing here asks for your password or a sign-in, so Instagram has no session of yours to link with the profiles you open. The privacy page covers what other services see. Services in the path.
Is the account owner notified when Dumpor plays one of their stories?
No. A story view triggers no Instagram alert at all, and their viewer list records only accounts that were signed in while the story played. Nobody signs in on this page, so your name never joins that list.
What can the account owner still see when I use Dumpor?
Their public counters and, at most, one view under a name they cannot place, never yours. What they control stays theirs: nobody they have not approved gets past a private setting, and Dumpor reads only what a profile shows to the public.
Does Dumpor work on iPhone and Android without an app?
Yes. It runs in Safari, Chrome or any other mobile browser, which means no install and no store listing to look for. Paste a handle, press View, and the four tabs open on your phone.
Do downloaded reels and stories carry a watermark?
Nothing is stamped on it. Press the download arrow on a photo or video and the file is saved as Instagram serves it, wherever your browser puts downloads. Saving it gives you no right to post it again elsewhere.
